An Introduction to Environmental Psychology

Davison Highley Logo

Davison Highley generously hosted this inaugural lecture in their London showroom on an Introduction to the field of Environmental Psychology: the study of people-environment relationships. The first in the User-Centered Design for the Built Environment workshop series, this talk demonstrated how understanding the way buildings affect our behaviour can make our workplaces better tools for working. Whether you are an architect or designer, a human resources manager, or work in sustainable building, an understanding of human factors can increase workplace performance and residential well-being. The presentation will covered evidence-based design methods, and how these can be applied to solve everyday problems in the workplace and beyond.
